I am not only a better artist and professional, but feel I am a better person because of my Inclusive Stages training. The material was invaluable, but even more so was the compassion and support with which it was taught, allowing everyone to collaborate and thrive in the most productive way. This training made me feel optimistic about the future of our industry!

Be Part of the Transformation.
Build the Future of Theater and Arts.

The Inclusive Stages™ Cohort Certification Program is more than just a training – it’s a movement to create lasting, meaningful change in the arts. This 6-month program equips arts leaders, creatives, and organizations with the tools, framework, and confidence to foster truly inclusive, trauma-informed, and emotionally intelligent spaces.

This work is critical for the survival and growth of our industry – this is the work that will help the arts thrive.

Our curriculum doesn’t shy away from the challenging issues that often get tiptoed around. At Inclusive Stages, we believe in strengthening our capacity to have difficult conversations and engage in compassionate feedback that drives real progress. Participants will develop the skills to create environments where diversity, emotional safety, and psychological well-being are foundational.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Practical Tools for Real Inclusion: Learn to identify and bridge inclusion gaps in your organization using our 6 Dimensions of Inclusion and STAGES framework, creating spaces that are culturally curious and psychologically safe.

  • Emotionally Intelligent Leadership: Develop emotional intelligence and trauma-informed skills that empower you to lead with empathy, resilience, and strategic vision.

  • Sustainable Organizational Change: Design lasting, inclusive structures for your organization with the Emotional Maths model, fostering high-functioning, resilient teams.

Program Structure:

  • In-Person Session 1: Introduction to Inclusion, Emotional Intelligence, and Trauma Awareness.

  • Virtual Sessions 2-6: Dive into strategic planning, feedback cultures, leadership coaching, and conflict resolution.

  • 3 Months of Community Support: Take advantage of practical application of learnings from cohort trainers and community support from the IS network.
